Latifa Laâbissi

Latifa Laâbissi began contemporary dance in France before continuing her training at the Cunningham studio in New York.
Since 1990, she works as dancer and choreographer. She creates L’écran somnambule (2009), Histoire par celui qui la raconte (2008), Self portrait camouflage (2006), Distraction (2006), Habiter (2005), Love co-signed by Loïc Touzé (2004), I Love like animals (2002), Phasmes (2001), L'âme et le corps duo and To Play (1998) with Yves-Noël Genod.
She collaborates as a performer for Jean-Claude Gallotta, Thierry Baë, Georges Appaix, Loïc Touzé, Jennifer Lacey et Nadia Lauro, Boris Charmatz, Robyn Orlin.
She founds the association Figure Project in 2008.
She teaches in différents contexts: universities, art schools, schools of architecture, choreographic centres.
